Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything to come play?

No. Play nights are completely free. Tournaments have a small entry fee — for example, $20 for the Nov 7 singles tournament.

Do I need to bring a board or anything else?

Nope. The club provides all the boards and buttons at every play night. If you have your own board, you're welcome to bring it — more boards means more games.

I've never played. Is that okay?

Absolutely — most people learn at their first night. Someone will show you the basics in a couple of minutes. Want a head start? Read our How to Play guide.

Are kids welcome?

Yes. Play nights are family-friendly events, and kids are welcome to play. Crokinole is simple enough for a five-year-old and still fun at 105.

Is there parking and food?

Yes — parking and food are both available on-site at our play nights.

Do I need to RSVP?

No RSVP for play nights — just show up. Tournaments use a registration form, linked on the Events page.

When and where do you play?

Every Thursday, 6–9 PM at Locavore Beer Works in Littleton, and the last Wednesday of each month, 6–9 PM at CO Tap House in Arvada. Check the calendar for holiday cancellations.

Where can I buy my own board?

Try a few boards at play night first, then see our Where to Get a Board page for our partners, Tracey Boards and BrownCastle Games.

Is the club a non-profit?

Yes. The Denver Crokinole Club is an official 501(c)(7) non-profit social club. Read more about the club.
